Sanjay began playing cricket as a university student in India. His dedication and commitment to the game led him to become Canadas top wicket-taker at the 2001 ICC Trophy. His 5 wickets for just 25 runs brought Canada's cricket team to the World Cup on July 17, 2001. He played three matches in the 2003 Cricket World Cup, and has since played a further six One Day Internationals for Canada. He has also represented Canada in two ICC Intercontinental Cup matches and the 2005 ICC Trophy. His effortless contribution to the Centurions Elite division and other division continues even to this date.Sanjay obtained his Level 2 Certification from Cricket Australia and began coaching cricket clinics in 2013.
